Departure at 4am will not serve any purpose....To reach station people will need to leave that early which I don't think will serve the purpose. I am sure railways will themselves know this. Maybe beneficial to intermediate passengers probably from Thrissur & Palakkad. But from CBE onwards again it may be vacant since CBE-SBC there are already trains like CBE-LTT, VB, Double decker at different timings which gives more flexibility to passengers boarding from there

Useful data. There are stations like Nuagaoan, Bondamunda ,Rengali where there are hardly any passengers who have boarded/deboarded in one month. Should they not re-look at the stoppage at these stations?

Can easily use the old slot of Tata-Allp. With Tata-ERS also becoming a day train and not touching Vizag it has become an issue for Tata passengers to connect to VSKP.

In the return direction 13352-Allp-Dhn and 18190 ERS-Tata almost run one behind the other right from ERS till ROU with just 2 hrs difference....I think they can try the same in onward direction as well. Old TT of Tata-Allp, it used to reach Rourkela at 18:15. DHN-Allp is reaching around 7:45pm. There is a diff of 1.5 hrs. No harm in trying this option.

Will be useful. One of the biggest issues in increasing coaches for this train was the pf length. A high demand commuter train especially in North Kerala. The extension might help in increase of 2 coaches at least which will be useful to some extent

A valid proposal, however one big constraint in having trains extended to these smaller stations would mean railways having to deploy extra staff in these stations just for the purpose of cleaning and maintenance only for 1 train. Similarly the electrical wing will keep highlighting loco utilisation as another point. New set of loco pilots will have to man the train in return direction so that will be Xtra cost. They will have to travel from bigger stations like MAQ to these stns and will have to be provided with some allowance. I do recollect one rail staff mentioning this that cost, utilisation of staff are all being looked at very closely by railways whenever such extensions are proposed. These are valid suggestions though

What are the constraints in merging KR with Indian Railways ? Lots of infra upgrade happening in many stations within IR whereas KR still seems far behind. Is there any special act or some other legal issues in merging it with IR ?
