In the era of "ACfication" of Superfast trains, this gem of a beauty still running with conventional rake composition. ICF rake with 10+ Sleeper coaches, 3-4 AC coaches, 1 Pantry car and 2-3 unreserved coaches. Just like those 2000-2010 era trains' rake composition.
Lets hope post LHBfication of this train, IR dont ruin by ridiculously reducing the Sleeper coach like it has done for common men trains like coromandel express.

Suri~ 7923 blog postsMy serious suggestion is to extend this train upto Titlagarh via Balangir. This will surely help western odisha and Titlagarh area people alongwith this train's occupancy will also get some improvement.

mukothan 2 blog postsHi rail experts, can you please let me know if it's safe to take VB from Chandigarh to NDLS and catch SBC Rajdhani from NZM? VB reaches NDLS by 18:25 and SBC rajdhani starts by 19:50. Do you think it will be a risky link?

Risky..if SBC rajdhani would have started from NDLS, then good but u have to change over NDLS to NZM. You may miss the train. It is peak evening traffic hour and also check in into NZM through security guards is time consuming.

I have once left GGN at 4pm, took a yellow line metro for NDLS and reached NDLS pf 5 minutes post departure of my BBS rajdhani. Then have to book Purushottam for delhi to odisha journey.
