the completion of the track doubling between Mysuru and Bengaluru, the commuting time between the two cities could be reduced to less than 2 hours.

Agree, SBC needs 3-4 more PF's in order to cater to future (in fact, present) demands.
SBC has space constraints. It can accommodate future trains (obvious after Mysore doubling and electrification) only by shifting some of the east bound trains to another terminal at east side of the city like Cantonment, KJM or White field similar to YPR. This will free up some PFs for Mysore side trains.
Yes. This also stuck with the Srirangapatnam issue. Electrification should not take much time once doubling is complete.
All East & South bound trains must be shifted to BYPL New Terminal, once completed
