SCR PR didn't mention SL is going to be removed only 3AC going to be added AFAIK...
"Train No. 17487 / 17488 Tirupati – Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Tirumala Express will be augmented with one AC III tier coach from 1st June, 2015 Ex. Tirupati and 2nd June, 2015 Ex. Visakhapatnam."

along with that Pr many other trains are proposed...even i too felt strange in reading the PR by clearly mentioning SL class will be replaced
