This will be an excellent system if the entire quota is released during the 1st chart preparation and only confirmed tkts are allowed upto the 2nd chart preparation. clarification awaited over this.

Current - generally issue from starting station of train dat too where current counters are der..i have not observed current bookings for passing trains at stations ..some days at BZA they issued but again they closed but how ever sysytem(official website )shows availability after RLWL charts also..

irctc has reached to many people now a days bcz of application and easy acess to internet....only required is awareness and publicity to use current booking.

This is just like UR traveling..last minute decision .but in general ,if our doj confirmed we will be in advance in book tickets ..a small relief in some section of pax as we can book in online from passing station also..:)
