Even I booked two tickets on jet airways flight from Indore to Kolkata for 13 December due to higher winter fares from on JP-CCU & ADI-CCU routes .....
Though newspaper article has counted flight two ways or has counted connecting flights as well bcoz 5 daily direct flights exist b/w IDR-BLR

* If Flexifares are scrapped, condition of many premium trains currently grappling with poor occupancy rates shall improve drastically. and revenue collection of such trains may actually increase!
* IR is not willing to scrap flexifares because many successful premium trains are giving high occupancy rates, such trains which were profitasble earlier also are now giving bumper profits. Flexifare means about 35-40% extra revenue for a fully occupied train.
