September 23rd, when a passenger, Sujit Kumar from Begusarai, Bihar, was injured while sitting near the footboard of the S-3 coach of the train. A case was filed based on Sujit Kumar's complaint. The GRP and RPF team apprehended 22 suspects and interrogated them. Shamim's identity was established through this investigation. Shamim has a history of robbery and theft from train passengers.

Bridge ke paas, Seemanchal Express ke S-3 coach ke paidaan ke paas baithe Begusarai (Bihar) ke yaatri Sujit Kumar (22) ko patthar lagne se chot lagi thi. Sujit Kumar ki shikayat par GRP mein mukadma darj kiya gaya tha. GRP aur RPF ki joint team ne 22 sandigdh logo ko hiraसत में lekar poochtaach kiya. Ishi aadar par, Shamim ki pehchaan hui. Shamim pehle bhi train yaatriyon se lootpaat aur chori karne ke kai maamle mein involve raha hai.
