Commercial Civil Aviation Operation Begins First Flight To Shivamogga Arrives And Welcomed with Water Cannon Salute IndiGo has started flying from Shimoga's Kuvempu Airport with daily ATR flights To Bengaluru. VT-IYM operated the first flight and finished the journey in just 47 minutes. The inaugural day flight was fully booked from both ends. Construction work on the new terminal of Shivamogga and Coching depot at Kotegangur has already started. It must have been going on for quite some time.
