Pensioners stated that the central government and the railway ministry should prioritize the reinstatement of train fare concessions. The meeting also demanded the immediate release of the frozen DA of pensioners for 18 months and an increase in medical allowance. Speakers appealed for contributions of five hundred rupees from all members for the construction of a federation building in Delhi. The Howrah-Gaya Vande Bharat Express will depart from Howrah at 6:50 AM, making stops at Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Parasnath, and Koderma before reaching Gaya at 12:30 PM.
