Announcements made through PAS are not that clear. For platform numbers,you can check the display board outside the entrance of the station. The Station is maintained well and is very clean. Only few coach position indicators are working. So, if you want to know the position of the coach, check the digital display board near the booking counter at the entrance to PF.No.1.
A total of three food outlets are available on the station. All three towards the TPJ end of PF#01.
The first serves casual snacks, cold-drinks, water, tea, coffee etc.
The second is a mini veg-restaurant where you can find dinner/lunch. Options are Chapathi, Parotta Idly mostly.
The third again serves only casual snacks.
