"Premium Fever" has engulfed Indian Railways completely.
Today a "New Premium" has been flagged off to Old Delhi from SDAH vide train no:02265/02266 SDAH DLI prm Puja Special to clear the extra Delhi Bound rush during Puja. This will run on every Saturday from SDAH till Nov 1 subject to further announcement.

I don't know the actual reason behind this idea of introducing Premium services where it is evident that it has many limitations..........over benefits as described in Entry# 1234382 .
Now IR has undertake a competition with the aviation industry by introducing this "Premium Sheme".
will it sustain in the long run?

Instead of Premium normal trains can be implemented as Railways is the heart of the nation and meant for a lower class, a middle class and also a upper class.
In the past we have not seen this "Premium" concept and dynamic fare concept but now it is prominently seen.
Don't know how people will take this "New Idea". It obviously benefits people of upper and some middle class but the lower class can't afford this.....
