In his maiden "Budget Speech" as an RM Mr Suresh Prabhu made the following announcement today:
The most Popular Trains which have huge Demand all over the Year and Confirm Reservation of which is very difficult to get in many times would be made "26 Coacher" in future. Mr Prabhu also said extra coaches will be taken from less popular trains and those will be added in the Most Popular Trains to make them 26 coacher.

can be augmented with 26 Coaches by taking coaches from less popular trains.
Now My question is:
1 Can it be feasible in realistic view by taking coaches from other trains to only Most Popular Trains?
2 The Present fleet of Locomotive can haul upto 24 Coaches. Only WAP 4 and WAP 7 can haul 24 to 26 Coaches.So if 26 Coaches are given in all Most Popular Trains of Indian Railway then will WAP 7/WAP 4 be provided for all those trains???
3 What will be the Fate of "Less Popular Trains" running on Indian Railtracks?????

Yes many station will not able to accommodate 26 coach train and few stations are not in condition so that pf can be extended .

Well to indeed manage the rolling stock... IR will need micro management of its resources. There will be several operational and administrative hurdles in managing it. e.g. Such adjustment may eventually end up withdrawing some train services...
