Observations at Pune : Saturday, 10-11-2007 : 15:30 to 16:30 hrs (Afternoon Observations)
1) 1008 Pune-Mumbai Deccan Exp departed from PF4 with KYN WCAM3 # 21935.
2) Rake of outgoing 1621A Pune-Satara Passenger was seen on PF6 as usual.

1030 Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyana Exp arrived on PF5 with orange/blue GY WDM3A # 14021 baldie (buldge face towards Mumbai) and later departed towards Mumbai with KJM WDP4 # 20025 (long hood forward towards Mumbai direction).
4) Electric trip shed had BL WCAM1 # 21811 # 21826 # 21827 and KYN WCAM3 # 21891 # 21933 and KYN WCG2 # 20119 # 20156 locos.
5) Yellow UBL WDG4 # 12020 loco was waiting on outer yard. As per marking on this loco, this Hubli WDG4 12020 is fitted with "AEB" (auto emergency brakes).
6) 2781 Mysore-Nizamuddin Swarnajayanti Exp arrived on PF1 with twin Kazipet WDG3A locos. The leading loco (towards Mumbai end) was orange KZJ WDG3A # 14620 and trailing loco was orange KZJ WDG3A # 14898. 2781 MYS-NZM Exp later departed towards Daund with same twin KZJ WDG3A locos.
7) Pune-Lonavala local departed from PF2 at 15:40 hrs.
8) Pit line between PF2/3 had GY WDM3A # 14021 baldie (ready to move out - later to haul 1081 Mumbai-Kanniyakumari Jayanti Janata Exp) and red/cream KZJ WDM3A # 18983R (at dead end - later to haul 1019 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar Konark Exp).
9) Rake of outgoing 1077 Pune-Jammutawi Jhelum Exp was seen on PF3 as usual!
10) Derated PUNE WDM2 locos 17158, 17168, 17251 were busy doing shunting work.
11) 6530 Bangalore-Mumbai Udyan Exp arrived on PF2 with KJM WDP4 # 20033 (long hood forward towards Mumbai direction) and later departed towards Mumbai with same loco (as usual).
12) Pit line near PF6 had skyblue/yellow KZJ WDM3A # 18795R (at dead end) and orange KZJ WDM3A # 18822R (ready to move out).
13) 6351 Mumbai-Tirupati-Nagercoil Exp arrived on PF4 with KYN WCAM3 # 21887 and later departed towards Daund with orange KZJ WDM3A # 18822R.
14) Lonavala-Pune local arrived on PF5 at 16:23 hrs and the same rake later departed as Pune-Lonavala local at 16:30 hrs.
15) 2780 Nizamuddin-VascoDaGama Goa Superfast Exp arrived on PF1 with turquoise PUNE WDG3A # 13149 Shakti Loco.
16) 7031 Mumbai-Hyderabad Exp arrived on PF4 with blue KZJ WDM3A # 18913R and was ready for onward journey with same loco!
17) 6340 Nagercoil-Mumbai Exp arrived on PF2 with orange GY WDG3A # 14631 loco. This loco will haul 2157/2158 Pune-Solapur-Pune Hutatma Exp and will go back tomorrow with Mumbai-Nagercoil Exp.
Observations at Pune : Saturday, 10-11-2007 : 17:40 to 18:00 hrs (Evening Observations at Ghorpuri Yard GIT Area)
1) Yellow PUNE WDS6 # 36140 was taking rest in GIT yard.
2) Twin Guntakal WDMx locos were seen getting refuelled. The leading loco (towards Mumbai direction) was skyblue/yellow GTL WDM2A # 17691 and trailing loco was skyblue/yellow GTL WDM2A # 16603.
3) KZJ WDM3A # 18795R came from Pune station and moved inside loco shed area. This was mostly the power for 6011 CSTM-MAS Exp and may have been reported with some fault. And as a consequence, orange PUNE WDG3A # 14817 moved from loco shed to Pune station (mostly to haul 6011 Chennai Exp - as a replacement loco).
4) Green PUNE WDM2 loco moved towards Pune (mostly to haul Pune-Baramati Passenger).
5) Deep inside loco shed, twin blue locos were seen, mostly KJM WDMx or KJM WDGx twins (or KJM liveried MLY WDMx locos).
6) 6532 Yashvantpur-Ajmer Garib Navaz Exp arrived with twin Kazipet WDG3A locos. The leading loco (towards Mumbai end) was orange KZJ WDG3A # 14575 baldie (buldge face towards Mumbai) and trailing loco was orange KZJ WDG3A # 14917.
