Fully non reserved trains should not be introduced in IR
(1) It is a failure concept and most of fully non reserved trains introduced in the past are now bearing substantial number of reserved coaches including ac ones.
(2) Fully UR trains are giving huge losses to IR and increasing the passenger losses/subsidy which has touched a monumental height of 35000 crore Rs per annum.

more... Antyoday trains are costlier due to cost of procurement anf maintenance of many additional facilities provided.
(4) Unreserved travel suits short distance travel and not the long distance travel, where as antyoday trains are very long distance ones (2000kms plus). Reserved travel should be promoted for long distance trains/travel.
