Dadar-Madras Exp. Trip - Part 2 (July 1992) : Part 2 covers the journey from Wadi till Madras. At that time, Wadi-Renigunta was unelectrified and mostly single line, except for two double-line sections - Guntakal-Gooty and a patch near Cudappah. Be sure to enjoy the following:

Your videos are GOLD of a nearly fading era from most minds.
Golden days of IR! In the 1980's 12/MAS-DR EXP used to leave MAS at 09:15 to reach DR at lunch time....but were no trains for ADI till evening....remembering spending entire day in the waiting room at BCT....
I remember 9/10 MAILS being hauled by Steam locos sometime in late 70's..

Wow! Great memories! The 145/146 Navjivan had a wonderful blue-red-white stripes. Do you recall seeing that? Also, it had a matched livery WDM2 in the beginning.

Yes, travelled first time during March 1979. Used to leave MSB on Tue at 06:00 to arrive ADI next day 17:30. In the early 80's IR shifted dep.point to MAS. Only 2S, 3T-SL, & PC existed. 2AC Sleeper Car introduced later in 1984.

A classless train introduced during Prof. Madhu Dandavate's tenure along with other beauties such as Gitanjali, Himgiri and Minar. Even Ganga Kaveri used to go to MAS Beach to connect to the MG Rameswaram Exp. but was shifted to Central in 1980.
