At the end you can see that our train was held up and 22114 LTT SF overtook us to MAJN. It was led by "Gaurav" KYN WDP4D 40235.

I think minimum fare was Rs5 then and SBC - YPR Costed only Rs5/-. While SBC - NMGA costed 10Rs. The SBC counter staff said, can't issue ticket, as DEMU doesn't depart from SBC, & asked to take ticket to YPR, & then take NMGA ticket from YPR. I Agreed. Immediately he said 'Change Kodi, change illa', which I didn't have. So had to take 2 tickets.

Issuing UR Tickets, shouldn't be issue as long as those stations come within same city & within given kilometers range. I think staff at ticket counters, are either not informed/or not having knowledge about these things. Don't have knowledge about ATVM's, as not seen or used yet. Malayalam Signboards ? - I heard ATVM's at MAQ too didn't have Kannada earlier & was showing only Palghat route.

No I didn't see ATVMs.
Yes Malayalam. See first video there are signs below the shelter. Danger warning in Hindi, English, Malayalam.

ticket counter people have learnt Kannada. Didn't see anyone who spoke Kannada back in 2008. No idea if they know the local language of Tulu.
Good thing - Pre-paid auto was working.

Canteen full of KL items like fried banana and banana made snacks. Coconut oil stuff. All employees are from KL.
In Putturu - SWR - no Kannada or Malayalam - Bihar personnel, had difficulty in understanding people. Same in Bidar too. The town itself is full of Malayalam people. But they called their language some other name starting with M. Mixture of Tulu and Malayalam.

Ticket Counter Staff - Kannada, I hope it depends on time. Visited MAQ in 2017, & there was Young girl (mostly newly recruited) & didn't knew kannada.
