Because it benefits Agra. I dont think big stations like Agra, Jhansi A category stations can be compared with small stations like bhind etawah and shivpuri.
And if you talking about train to take the short short then why should it directly run via kanpur, jhansi, bina bhopal rather taking it to etawahetawah?

What are you trying to justify then? Etawah ke pass kanpur lucknow ke liye trains hein, etawah ke pass guna gwalior ke liye bhi train hein. then why are you asking for diversion of sabarmati?
jab guna touch karne waali kota etawah express khaali jaa rahi hai.

Aisa proposal aaya hai, but ALD HQ has not given clearance yet. Indore Barielly, pehle hi Agra Jhansi jaise bade stations ko touch karti hai running via etawah would be a probable loss.
I agree in the beginning Sushasan Express was meant to run via etawah but because of Construction it wasn't possible. May now Gwaliorites are happy with this route and they don't want etawah.

It has a RSA with Gwalior Pune Express. But is it even required Etawah already have trains for GKP, LKO and trains for GWL are running empty except Jhansi Etawah Link Express. Then how can your demand be justified?
