In a meeting of the Divisional Committee of Chakradharpur and Ranchi Railway Division of South Eastern Railway held at Rourkela, MP Electroselection Mahato once again put several major demands in a vigorous manner. The MP demanded extension of one of the Tata-Danapur, South Bihar Express and Patna-Bilaspur train to Buxar.

The MP has taken up all the closed local trains at the earliest keeping in view the public interest, Gitanjali Express, Shalimar-Gorakhpur Express, Samaleshwari Express and Howrah-Korpur Express to be provided stoppage at Ghatila, construction of halt at Badkola between Dhaalbhamumagadha and Kokapara, commencement of construction of new railway line from Budamara to Bahagdha (Odisha) of Chakulia block, construction of robs near Chakulia, Asanbani and Govindpur railway station to start at the earliest. Sanction of new railway line for Jhargram via Chandidil-Bagam-Patam-Patagada-Kalin-Bandwan, there is also a demand in the meeting for construction of under ground bridge in front of the lay tree on the route from The Village-Chatra Doba, Sunsunia to village-Jodisa, at the up and down railway line of Chakulia-Kokapara railway station.
The MP said that he has put the above demands in many places at various levels. Even in the divisional Committee meeting, they are keeping the above demands relating to public interest. Dinesh Sidon, member, ZRUCC was also present on the occasion. Earlier in the meeting, GM SK Mohanty also warmly welcomed the MP by giving floral clusters.
