Surface_transport 281 blog posts12840 has a very good departure time (19:15) from chennai but arrival time at howrah is most inconvenient (23:00).
So this train can be extended to Patna and will become extremely useful as now Sanghamitra express bypasses chennai via Perambur.
A new train with convenient timings can be introduced to Howrah- 12 noon chennai departure and howrah arrival 4pm

It's not happening. In my opinion, 12840 departure time at 19.15 hrs must be swapped with 12669, 12967 & 12969 departure time of 17.40 hrs.
So, this will happen:- For 12840:- MAS 17.40; 432 BZA 00.05/15; 782 VSKP 06.20/40; 1207 KUR 13.10/20; 1226 BBS 13.40/50; 1254 CTC 14.20/25; 1548 KGP 18.55/19.00; 1664 HWH 21.10| Train Name must be made Chennai-Howrah SF Express; For 12669:- MAS 19.15; 432 BZA 01.40/50; 883 BPQ 08.40/50; 1095 NGP 12.10/20; 1393 ET 17.10/15; 1638 JBP 21.05/15; 2005 PRYJ 03.40/04.00; 2140 BSB 06.30/40; 2280 BUI 09.10/15; 2346 CPR 10.30;
