Hello, I want transfer my bike from mumbai to Delhi by train, what is the procedure? Who I should meet? And how to book the luggage?
Take a xerox of your Aadhar card and vehicle registration card to Parcel office in LTT or Mumbai central fill the form and submit in office pay the fee mentioned. They will be packing agents they will drain the fuel from vehicle(better have min fuel) and pack the vehicle according to size will vary upto Rs 1000 for packing handling. At Delhi take a xerox copy if aadhar or valid ID and take delivery. Mention the train to which you want the bike to be transported so that you are not charged for overstating at destination. This is tge general process. First go and visit parcel office at Central foe porocedure.
Ok. So whether I hv to do reservation for bike or I can get which ever date I want?
In youtube search for 'DailyTravelHack' channel and you will find there a video for bike parcel. After this video you have a knowledge about this.
