Isn't it high time SCR starts speeding up trains as a result of 130 KMPH? 12728 and 12727 time of travel can easily come down to 12 hrs I feel. NCR is so much better in this aspect.

Even Vja Vskp is 130kmph then why 6.5hrs? 6hrs should be enough. Before that I would like SCR to run all SC RJY Vskp SF trains on time before upgrading to 130kmph. 2 days back my brother travelled from Pune to Vskp by LTT exp which was late by 3hrs hours and 2 hrs in SCR itself. Took 6.5hrs from SC to Vja. Every day 2 out of 4 trains reach Vskp late by min of 30mins.

That is why it's better to leave some slack. Ideally journey should be done in 11.5 hrs. However punctuality is just going down in SCR and I wonder why. Is SCR following the likes of SECR and giving priority to freight? Godavari's record of going to VSKP is fine but return 12727 is horrible.
