more... Railway proudly announces the successful commissioning of the new 3rd line of 25.09 km Manmad-Nandgaon Section with electrification, a significant milestone within the ambitious 183.94 km Bhusawal-Manmad 3rd line electrified project. This achievement follows the meticulous safety inspection and speed trial of 130 kmph overseen by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) Central Circle.
The Manmad-Nandgaon Section, an integral segment of the Rs 1360.16 Crore Bhusawal-Manmad 3rd line endeavor, has reached completion as a result of diligent efforts. With this accomplishment, a substantial 96.81 km out of the total 183.94 km proposed for the electrified project has been realized, constituting a commendable 52% progress towards its overall goal. Notably, the Bhusawal-Pachora Section spanning 71.72 km has already been successfully constructed and brought into operation.
The construction of this railway section has entailed the establishment of a total of 47 bridges, encompassing 6 major and 41 minor bridges. Notably, the daunting challenge of Rock-Cutting across a 700-meter stretch near Panjhan station was admirably surmounted. The section features strategically positioned stations including Manmad Jn, Panewadi, Hisvahal, Panjhan, and Nandgaon, each of which underwent station yard modifications with blocks taken earlier with non-interlocked working in conjunction with the construction of the 3rd line. Additionally, the project encompassed pivotal tasks such as Interlocking, Signalling, and Overhead Equipment (OHE) Modification. Moreover, the project facilitated the seamless integration of the existing Engineering Department Workshop of Rails & Sleepers at Manmad with the 3rd line, incorporating essential tasks such as track shifting, OHE modification, signaling, cabling, and related utility shifting activities.
The successful realization of this new 3rd line is poised to alleviate congestion within the Manmad-Bhusawal section, an integral part of the bustling Mumbai-Howrah route. This transformation will not only enhance operational efficiency but also elevate train speeds across the railway network, contributing to an enhanced travel experience.
Key officials including CRS Central Circle, Shri Manoj Arora; DRM Bhusawal Division, Smt Ity Pandey; Chief Engineer Shri SK Jha; Deputy Chief Engineer Shri Kishore Singh; and other esteemed senior personnel graced the safety inspection, speed trial, and commissioning ceremony of the Manmad-Nandgaon Section. This resounding accomplishment underscores Central Railway's commitment to the advancement of railway infrastructure and efficient connectivity.

It's all electrified thanks to the Bhusawal-Manmad 3rd Line Electrified Project. This is a major achievement, man! They even had a safety inspection and speed trial up to 130 kmph overseen by the Commissioner of Railway Safety. Impressive, right?
This section is part of the massive Bhusawal-Manmad 3rd line project, which costs a whopping Rs 1360.16 Crore. And get this, they've already completed a whopping 96.81 km out of the total 183.94 km proposed! That's like 52% done, my friends. The Bhusawal-Pachora Section of 71.72 km is already up and running smoothly.
Building this railway section was no joke, I tell ya. They had to put up a total of 47 bridges, including 6 big ones and 41 small ones. And let me give props to the gang who conquered the crazy challenge of cutting through rocks for 700 meters near Panjhan station.
They've also made some cool changes at the stations along the way. Manmad Jn, Panewadi, Hisvahal, Panjhan, and Nandgaon all got some upgrades with the construction of the 3rd line. They took care of important stuff like interlocking, signaling, and overhead equipment (OHE) modification. Oh yeah, they also integrated the existing Engineering Department Workshop of Rails & Sleepers at Manmad with the 3rd line. They did a whole bunch of tasks like shifting tracks, modifying OHE, installing signals, and changing utilities.
This new 3rd line is gonna make a huge difference, my dudes. It's gonna clear up congestion in the Manmad-Bhusawal section, part of the busy Mumbai-Howrah route. Trains are gonna go faster, making travel so much smoother and more enjoyable.
The big shots at Central Railway were all there for the safety inspection, speed trial, and commissioning ceremony of the Manmad-Nandgaon Section. They're really committed to improving the railway system and making everything run smoothly.
