Impossible. It would take ~10 mins for a loco change and ~20 mins for a loco reversal atleast, from my experience. [In practise, at busy stations, it can take as high as ~30 mins. Hint: LKO NR took a really long time to do it back in the day].
The reason it is given in TTs like that is because slack time is already added in those trains, usually before the train arrives at the given station. This allows for before time arrival, and hence more time [than 2 minutes allotted]...

please wait...Translate to EnglishNo way, dude! It takes about 10 minutes to switch engines and at least 20 minutes to turn the engine around, from what I've seen. And sometimes, at really busy stations, it can even take up to 30 minutes. You know, like when LKO NR used to take forever to do it back in the day.
The reason why they give such long times in the train schedules is because they already include some extra time. Usually, they add it before the train reaches the station. This way, the train can arrive earlier than expected and still have enough time (more than just 2 minutes) for a timely departure.
please wait...Translate to HindiNamumkin hai yaar. Meri anubhav se toh kam se kam 10 minute lagega ek loco change karne mein aur kam se kam 20 minute lagega loco reverse karne mein. (Asal zindagi mein, busy stations par ye samay tak lag sakta hai ~30 min jitna. Tip: LKO NR mein ye bahut samay leta tha purane dinon mein).
Isliye ye TTs mein aise diya hota hai kyunki pehle se hi extra waqt joda jata hai in trains mein, aam taur par train shuru hone ki sthan par pahunchne se pehle. Isse pahle se waqt mein pahunchne ka mauka milta hai aur isliye 2 minute se zyada waqt aur samay par nikalne ka mauka milta hai.
