The new line will connect with the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata railway lines, creating new routes and increasing connectivity for trains traveling to Kanpur, Prayagraj, and other major cities. The North Central Railway (NCR) is currently conducting a survey and will soon prepare a detailed project report (DPR).
