Additionally, SpiceJet has secured ₹3,000 crore in funding for expanding its fleet. In other news, the Karnataka government has announced a compensation and ordered suspension of officials following the death of a Bengaluru boy due to a gate collapse. The state also announced a comprehensive bridge safety audit following a bridge collapse in Karwar. In Dharwad, election officers seized sarees without proper documentation. A retired bank employee was also defrauded of ₹63 lakh by cyber criminals. Meanwhile, Actor Sanjay Dutt performed Pind Daan at the Vishnupad Temple in Gaya.
