The site is updated every few minutes with information from Railways’ backend systems that support train operations. In this system passengers can SMS the 5 digit train no. to mobile no. 9717631813, the expected arrival/departure of train from Delhi area stations will be SMS back to the passenger by the system automatically after a few seconds. For example if passenger wants to know the status of arrival/departure of Train no. 12951 simply write in SMS 12951 and send to the mobile no. 9717631813.
