I have booked TWO AC Chair Car tatkal tickets but one ticket has been confirmed another one is TQWL 1. Shall we both can board the train are not? Or what is the chances for the confirmation of TQWL1?

Yes, both of you may board the train. Passengers with partially confirmed etickets are authorized to board the train.

Additional point for cancellation of the WL Ticket: If you want to cancel the 2nd waitlisted ticket, you have to obtain certificate from the TTE and file a TDR. There is no automatic cancellation incase of partially waitlisted tickets.

Hi Moderator Sir,

It is mentioned that Bilimora Jn has 5 PFs but it actually has 4 Platforms where 3 are for Broad Gauge and one platform caters the narrow gauge trains. Kindly help with the update.

Yes, there are 3 services each everyday in both the directions.
There is also a Vistadome coach attached to each train which may be booked online via IRCTC.

The experience is absolutely amazing and it would be even better during the monsoon. I will draft a travel tip regarding the ng experience and post it soon.

Sayaji Nagari arrived at Platform no 3 at Bilimora with a 37507 BRC WAP-7 and waited for the overtake. Tejas arrived within 3 minutes with a WAP-7 and overtook Sayaji Nagari from Platform no 1.

The 12935 BDTS Surat Intercity cruises through the Vasai Bridge over Vasai creek. The land at the end of this bridge is the Panju Island which is bordered by water on all the sides. After crossing this island there is another bridge that helps the railway line cross on to mainland to reach the Naigaon railway station.

The 17612/Mumbai CSMT - Hazur Sahib Nanded Rajya Rani Express waits at CSMT with a 40382 WDP-4D from Gooty. The maintenance of coaches were very poor and the B1 coach looked the worst. The B2 coach was the only coach in a tolerable state and the others were too dirty. I would rate this train as the one with the worst maintenance that enters Mumbai even below the LTT Shalimar Express.
