17014/17013 Hyb Pune Exp should be extended upto LTT or Panvel. There is a gap of about 4 hours between 2 trains to mumbai from Pune with the result the Deccan Exp goes overcrowded everyday. People sit in the unreserved coaches in this train right from 2pm waiting for its dep at 1530.
HYB Pune exp reaches at 13.15 and can continue till LTT which will give good patronage especially if some of its coaches are allowed as day journey reserved seating ex pune.
It can start from HYB at same time

or an hour late.
From LTT/Panvel it can start around 8/9 pm and arrive HYB in the afternoon around 1pm. This timing will benefit those going to Osmanabad, Latur Bidar and Zaheerabad as it will reach there in morning hours
Some coaches should be used as 2nd seating upto Pune

Have anyone travelled in the new sleeper design coaches of this train the one which has sliding windows.
How are the coaches, sleepers and comfort.
How are the new sliding windows, do they offer bigger view. Does it have both glass and metal window pane.
Are the seats aligned to the windows and comfortable.

The passergers are correct. The issue is not of LHB or ICF, its the seating arrangement and the non alignment of windows with the seats.
The Karnavati exp also has similar coaches. Seats are good but while stepping out of the seats inconveniences the next seated passengers.
Window seat is a gamble, you may have a window but still the window will elude you as it will be in front or back or no window at all when its a seat between 2 windows. Again keeping it open or closed

often is a matter of cooperation between the shared seats of same window. With this arrangement the old ICF rake seating style was definately better. The seating problem with ICF rake style was when the railways made it 3x3 arrangement from earlier 3x2.

I had been to Dhanushkodi in March this year.
Writing this as I have come across queries about visiting Rameswaram and particularly Dhanushkodi, same questions I had before visiting.
Its easy to visit Dhanushkodi now by bus. Bus number 5 and 7 are available every half and hour 8 to 6 pm and it takes about 45 minutes to visit Dhanushkodi. The bus goes upto setu point. Food is not available there so better to carry water and other eatables.
Nice

place to visit however avoid holidays and weekends if possible to escape
the crowd.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
