Each and every station is important bhai. Ara is also important junction for that region :)
Agree on the Katihar part, almost 99% of train Katihar is having is with RL quota, very few originating trains or General quota trains.

Yes agree. Weak Political leadership is a big issue at Katihar.
Vande Bharat is a classic example, region got this train thanks to KNE MP, everyone was little doubtful about the success of this train. But this VB is doing really well and running almost full daily..
So this region really needs some good long distance originating trains from Katihar as well.

KIR will never get so many originating trains for sure ЁЯШВ
Even if Katihar gets these 2-3 trains, I'll be super and pleasantly surprised:
- KIR-YPR bi weekly

I feel once division gets memu rakes and memu maintenance is shifted to Siliguri shed. These 4 pitlines in Katihar will become more underutilised ЁЯШВ
