Yo, check out this pic of the Brahmaputra Mail train rolling on the Naranarayan Bridge over the Brahmaputra River, with a Siliguri engine. The train got rerouted through Goalpara Town instead of its usual way through Rangiya. Another train heading the other way is the New Bongaigaon Passenger. Both trains are making moves in Pancharatna, Assam.

This super cool train from Howrah is getting all fixed up before hitting the tracks. Here's what's up with the design:

1. The cream and blue colors are on point, just like the 'JAWAHAR' train when it got a makeover in Ghaziabad.

2. The cream stripes near the top ending before the thunderbolts and continuing at the bottom is a nod to the old Shatabdi design on 'JAWAHAR' back in the day.

3. The train number on the front is smack dab in the middle, just like the ICF Rajdhani train 22519.

4. The train class is now back under the windows, giving it that old school vibe from the early days of trains.

5. Extra stripes on the train number side are giving off major classic loco vibes, like the WAG 5 units.

6. The manufacturer's plates are looking pretty fly.

Locomotive bani thi 1855 mein England mein Kitson, Thompson & Hewitson ke dwara, 2-2-2T wheel arrangement ke saath. Bahut saal tak Howrah se Raniganj tak ki journey karti rahi. Baad mein ise Bihar shift kiya gaya aur yahan se 1909 tak chali. 1998 mein, ise Perambur Loco Works ne restore kiya aur usi saal ise Guinness World record mila sabse purani steam locomotive hone ka. Abhi bhi EIR-21, Fairy Queen ke bade bhai ki tarah, duniya mein sabse purana chal rahe steam loco hai. Dono, EIR-21 aur EIR-22, 1855 mein banaye gaye aur 1909 mein retire hue. EIR-22 ko 1998 mein restore kiya gaya aur usne Guinness World Record jeeta lekin us waqt EIR-21 abhi tak service mein nahi tha jab tak uski restoration 2011 mein Perambur Loco Works ne nahi ki.

IR mein heritage tag milne wale aur bhi contenders hain jo include karte hain kuch chote gauge (MG/NG) rail roads, locomotives, station buildings, etc. Kuch heritage tag jeet chuke hain, kuch ab tak intezaar kar rahe hain, aur kuch ka permanent jagah mil chuka hai history mein.
