Just one correction, 8689/90 BKSC - ALLP Express got extended to DHN circa 2002-03. It was already under ECR, then.

You have more or less listed(almost all) problems pertaining to the present state of BKSC. All terminating/originating trains of BKSC were lost to other nearby stations. 8689/90 BKSC - ALLP was extended to DHN, 2019/20 HWH - BKSC Shatabdi got extended to RNC, and the last one HWH - BKSC Passenger/Express got extended to RNC indirectly through its RSA partner BKSC - RNC Passenger.

This bypass will open Pandora's box for ASN - North Bengal connectivity. Also, rake length of Vananchal Express could be increased. But, some trains having LR at DGR might get rerouted via this bypass.

More than VB, I am in favour for a daily overnighter between ASN - NJP/APDJ.

Yes, you are correct. Who knows, we might see a ANVT/DLI - RPH/MLDT Express via - DHN or RNC - NJP Express restoration via - ASN, RPH, PKR, MLDT.

IMO, one more bypass should be constructed joining Down main line of SBG loop with UP main line of HWH - ASN main line. This would ensure trains coming from RPH/BHP side to move seamlessly towards DGR/ASN.

Got to know this from my father, on 24.4.24 enquiry counter officials were saying 12021 Janshatabdi will depart but don't know when. This was happening repeatedly and people lost their cool. They broke the window panes. RPF had to come to the spot. This has become a daily affair for 12021/22, arrive late, depart late. Can't they just cancel one run and make it on time? And make it run very close to the schedule (if not exactly on the schedule) everyday? Oh sorry, obviously freight is the lifeline of SER, passenger trains are not at all important.

SER(CKP division) and SECR are not interested in passenger trains at all. This is the new normal in these areas. So, public agitation to hona hi hai. Lekin, fir bhi situation nahi sudhrega.

Both, 12349/50 BGP - NDLS weekly SF Express and it's RSA partner 13423/24 BGP - AII Express were proposed by ER to be extended to Godda. The same was approved by RB as well. Then, Godda MP Nishikant Dubey asked for Humsafar as it was in trend at that time. So, RB approved for convertion of 12349/50 into Humsafar and extension till Godda. Thus, BGP - AII Express got the dedicated LHB rake and it got spared from extension.

12305 pehle bhi BT aakar PNBE & DDU mein khadi rehti thi. Abhi bhi PNBE mein wahi hoga. DDU mein shayad RT pahuche. Overall, End to End mein timing same rahega. Lekin, 12305/06 easily HWH - DDU ke beech speedup ki jaa sakti hai.
