Since 12531/2 ICE was canceled and LJN-BJU under heavy load due to Diwali and Chatt Puja in Bihar; I had to take a bus.Lucknow has multiple bus stations [4 I think], but Alambagh with it's relatively large space, seamless metro connectivity [the metro station is just next to the bus station] takes the cake.

Just like a LJN-BJU Express, our bus wasted an hour in Lucknow itself before looping around the city before exiting . It took 2+ hrs [including a small lunch break] to reach Ayodhya bus stand. My connecting bus...

to my village was 1.5 hrs later and FD/AYC was nearby, so I just walked to the station. The PF 1 was buzzing with VB passengers and had an underpass for PF 2.Curiously, AYC-DLI Express was also stationed at PF 4 and some passengers even occupied it's GN coaches despite it starting post 1700 hrs.

Some trains departing NDLS today in next few hours with 21/22 + 1/2 combo (LHB).. DBRT Raj, HWH Raj, Sampoorna Kranti, Poorva (data from NTES).. MMCT Raj too has 1 HCPV but total 22 coaches only.
