So we celebrated the Birthday of Gitanjali Express yesterday. We thank all the SER officials for the permission and for helping us out. All the Railfans present yesterday enjoyed a lot.

Kudos to your passion! I remember boarding Gitanjali Express from Raipur to Bombay VT on a regular basis, and the struggle it took to get through (39 berths in same coach, with 2 minute stop at about 2 am in the morning wasn't always fun for a little kid).
I recall how Gitanjali Express used cursive writing for the board, and included a name display board in front of the WAP-4 that pulled it (till Durg anyway).

Currently, the fastest train between Pune and Hubli is Karnataka Sampark Kranti Express, which covers the distance in 10 hours and 40 minutes. So assuming same speed/stops, the Duronto will reach UBL around 20.40.
The fastest return is 11:05 hours, which means the Duronto would have to leave UBL at 04.10 am.
