The work on building a new DC line has started, yo! Heard the 28km line will pass through Chandrapura, Telo, Gomoh rail flyover bypass, Matari and then connect to the grand chord. They started in August 2023 and aim to finish it by March 2027.

So, I got this idea to extend it from Dhanbad to Anand Vihar(T), creating a daily link between Anand Vihar(T) - Tatanagar via Dhanbad and Pathardih. The plan is to stretch the 13301/13302 Dhanbad - Tatanagar Swarna Rekha Express to Anand Vihar(T), skipping the hassle of reversing at Pathardih & Adra. Also, the maintenance will shift from East Central Railway to Northern Railway. The lineup would be 1A, 2A, 3A, 3E, SL, PC, GS, LSLRD, LWLRRM. I'm also proposing that Northern Railway combines this new route with the 12487/12488 Anand Vihar(T) - Jogbani Seemanchal Express. Here's a rough timetable I've come up with: - Anand Vihar(T) - 12:55 - Dhanbad - 05:30/05:35 - Tatanagar - 10:55 - Tatanagar - 16:30 - Anand Vihar(T) - 14:55 Word is we'd need 3 LHB coaches for this plan. Maintenance at CDO/ANVT, NR and original equipment from TATA, SER. Cool?
