What a useless reply from SWR. RB had decided to give LHB to Goa, SWR decided to allot those rakes to Hampi/GG instead. Also regarding speed-up, there's plenty of scope for it in ET-NZM section, although that may be outside of SWR's control.

Lastly, CLR-QLM doubling has been cancelled I believe due to the SC order. Is this SWR's way of saying that they won't be speeding up this train even within their own zone? 🤣

Seems like SWR will continue to give full priority to trains originating in KA for LHB conversions. Despite the fact that Goa is the oldest train connecting LD-MRJ section to Delhi. As many other RFs have stated before, VSG-LD section should have been made part of KR

Not sure if completion of doubling will make a difference. BJP-SUR section has already been doubled quite a while back, but this train and others have been given an enormous slack in that section.

If that slip is to be now run as a separate train, how would that stop Goa from getting LHB? But if it is being re-introduced as a slip for Goa like before, then I guess we can forget about Goa getting LHB anytime soon

After the UBL-NZM slip was cancelled in late 2020, Goa express was given one 3A and one SL coach, plus two HCPVs. It has had this CC for over a year now, so I doubt it will get any more coaches.

Besides, I've heard max 22 coaches are allowed for ICF rake trains running on Braganza ghat section, in addition to pitline constraints at VSG.

YPR Rajdhani’s not needed. A speed up of Goa express and both KSKs running via MRJ should be sufficient for this route.
