Is train ka bas downfall hi ho rha h, infact jab ye 140/120/110 k mps pe chalti thi tab jada fast thi instead of now 150/130 kmph speed.

This is when BPL Div has conducted a trial run of Shatabdi to HBJ for 1 week (before it's actual extension) and it reached HBJ at 2 PM on 4 consecutive days (I was present at HBJ during this trial and 1 day our fellow RF Hardik was onboard) it has to be noted that Morena halt was still present at that time still when actual extension took place instead of adjusting the slack IR provided extra 25 minutes to cover 6 kms.

Amarkantak ka short termination bhi problem create krega as it has to use PF 2 but now that PF is used by REWA VB 6 days, Pune/Src Humsafar, AGTL Spl, RKMP-LTT. So either rake has to move immediately to other PF or has to get stabled in yard (mainline needs to be blocked during this process).
Other option what they can try is to not change terminal point, instead they can send the rake to NSZ yard wha 1-2 line to free rhti h ya chaahe to NSZ k PF ko use karle wese bhi Amarkantak k time pe NSZ pe trains nhi rhengi.

Bhopal is a State Capital and Highest Passenger Revenue generating city in terms of railways of whole MP but still much behind in terms of Infra and Dedicated trains.

I remember a lot of people used to mention how Sleeper and General class were loss makers and needed to be terminated as a whole.

What do y'all think about this? Loss making VBs. Some times ago I also made a post about how useless Bhopal - Indore VB was and Sampoorna Kranti's unreserved class was making more revenue than that of Bhopal - Indore VB.

Dainik Bhaskar is infamous for providing wrong facts related to Railways, and when it comes to Bhopal they are a level above. I do not believe them when it comes to Railways as I have seen them printing some great blunders.

more than twice than that of a loco hauled Shatabdi which has more halts more running time and on top of that uses diesel as fuel in its EOG (in case HOG doesn't work), its also Higher than that of Rajdhani Express which runs all the way from Bengaluru to Delhi.
If this is the case then IR along with whole world is fool to invest in trainsets. and VB is not going to run in profit even if the occupancy is 100% on every run.

I tried to ask the authenticity of this data from BPL Div PRI but didn't get through. So I have just submitted a RTI asking for the operating cost and revenue generated by RKMP VBs in last 1 year along with Shatabdi and dedicated Superfast running on the same route to get the official figures. Lets wait for the response and then come to conclusion.

Operational Cost of VB mentioned here is way more, double of Shatabdi Express, which I think is little misdirected as Shatabdi uses Diesel in both EOGs even if it runs on HOG. VB also uses regenerative breaking system, automatic doors, better aerodynamics how can just because it is multiple unit train set it operating cost shot double than that of Shatabdi, whereas as far as Train Sets are considered they are supposed to be more energy efficient thus less costly in operation.

correct than even if VB is 100% occupied on daily basis then also it will always be a loss making because RKMP-NZM VB any day has more than 60% occupancy and 90-100% occupied on weekend, if that is generating low revenue then hardly it will generate 30-40% more even it runs pack daily.

Also I believe Rajdhani data presented here is end to end not Bhopal-Delhi-Bhopal as it doesn't have that much seat quota to get this much revenue.

So overall this news is not making sense to me, anyways this is printed in Newspaper of Bhopal who are infamous to print bogous fake and misleading Railway news.
