* Mr. Prabhu was made RM in spite of not being a MP, just because of his excellent track record. There is no minister with better track record than Mr. Prabhu if we consider the performance in totality including efficiency, vision, integrity etc.
* Sacking just because of few accidents and the resultant Media/Opposition pressure there of, is a sign of extreme immaturity of the way of governance in our country. These accidents too are directly a result of negligence of duty and not following the approved work practices by IR field staff. * Mr prabhu, who got a worst handover of IR from predecessors, have initiated/implemented several steps for betterment of IR in long run- Delegation of powers to Zones/Divisions, Quick project clearances and construction, accounting reforms, success in PPP projects, drastic increase in non fare revenue, Stopping construction of LHB, cleanig of trains/stations, onboard help to pax thru twitter, promoting environment thru electrification, LEDs etc, huge saving in power purchases, etc in last 3 yrs which no previous RMs could do in 5 year stint.
