I think cleaning and water filling will be done at Baiyyappanahalli. As far as the crew is concerned, I don't think it will be a problem. I agree with the inconvenience it will cause to passengers. For that, a halt at Baiyyappanahalli should be provided and metro trains should be run from 4:00 am itself. Hope many more trains are shifted once Baiyyappanahalli terminal is built.

These trains had occupied slots in SBC only for 3 days. While i agree the dep time from SBC was a peak hour (6:45pm), not very sure if the arrival at Bangalore at 4:20am led to lot of congestion etc.
Anywys i am sure there are other larger issues which railways might be viewing, and generally weekly/biweekly trains are the easy options for them to make changes.

Exactly, better to try out weekly/bi-weekly trains than disturbing daily trains. Yes, arrival didn't pose any challenge and may be it was departure time which made them shift the terminal.

Once Ynk station renovation work is completed, it will have 5 platform. So train my be terminated there.

Yes, all trains going towards DMM such as Prashani Nilayam exp, Prashanti Exp, Kondaveedu Exp, all the GKP Exp, INDB Exp, JBP Exp can be terminated at YNK itself.
