* Seat in Vande Bharat costs almost double the ACC seat cost of an express train. To be successful VB need to be introduced on very high traffic (premium class) routes with high operational/ average speeds
* Routes being considered for Vande Bharat like Bangaluru-Mangluru, Mangaluru - Hyderabad, Mangaluru - Chennai, Indore-Bhopal etc are likely to be big failures.
* Traditional high traffic routes like Mumbai-Ahmedabad, Delhi-Amritsar/ Chandigah/ Lucknow are better options than the ones being considered.
