ek EOG rahega, aur ek EOG nikal ke LHB SLR lagayenge. abhi secr ko 6 lhb slr coaches mile hain. Unmein ek taraf EOG bhi hoga. Ek EOG ek diesel full tank mein araam se 1200-1500 km nikal leta hai

** Removal od one out of the two power generation cars is a welcome move, but LHB trains should be labelled as a "GREEN TRAIN" when both the power cars have been removed.
** It would be a good move to replace second power car with HoG loco and operate the train in pushpull mode. There will be multiple benefits-
- saving of diesel
-
...
less noise/ air pollution
- More pax. capacity, more revenue
- higher speed/ lesser journey time.
but currently there is shortage of E-locos and it will take a few years when they will be in plenty.

That would not happen as at least one EOG with full tank fuel will always be there in the rake for emergency purposes that will be helpful in case of ohe power failure or loco issue.
Currently, even though one EOG is there , it is in switched off state 90% times where ever HOG capable eloco is present for traction SO its is non polluting and 99% OHE power operated only.
