Some are Broad gauge. Blue , yellow line are broad gauge forsure.

Don't give wrong information. Older lines (Red, Blue and Yellow) are Broad Gauge and newer lines (Violet, Magenta, Airport, Pink, Grey, Green) are standard gauge.

The first three lines DMRC worked for red(first of all three: started bw shahdara and tis hazari), blue and yellow were BG to facilitate easy movement of rolling stock using IR lines.
Later DMRC changed its policy and decided to built the newer lines in standard gauge as they were getting competitive prices for rolling stock and technology in procurement bid for standard guage.
