from Ambala to Bathinda will be reduced from 4.5-5 hours to 3 hours, enabling the introduction of new trains like Vande Bharat and Shatabdi Express. The doubling project, which began in 2019, involved laying new tracks in various phases and cost 2500 crores. The project will increase train speeds and offer seamless connectivity between Bathinda, Ambala, Delhi, and other parts of the country. The entire 173 km section from Rajpura to Bathinda is expected to be double-tracked soon.

Sab kuchh pura hone pe, Ambala se Bathinda ka journey 4.5-5 ghante se kam hoke sirf 3 ghante mein pura hoga. Isse Vande Bharat aur Shatabdi Express jaise new trains chalaane ki raah khul jaayegi. 2019 mein shuru hui yeh project 2500 crore ka hai aur isme kai phase mein tracks layi gayi hai. Is project se trains ki speed badhegi aur Bathinda se Ambala, Delhi aur desh ke dusre hisson tak easy connectivity milegi. Rajpura se Bathinda ke beech ka 173 km ka section bhi jaldi double ho jaayega.
