Train diversions announced for railway line work

Southern Railway is diverting several express trains on the Chennai Beach-Egmore route on September 28th and 29th due to the final phase of work on the fourth line between these stations. The Visakhapatnam-Chennai Egmore Express will terminate at Chennai Central on September 28th and depart from Chennai Central on September 29th....

The Kakinada Port-Chengalpattu Circar Express will be diverted via Korukkupet, Arakkonam, Melpakkam, and Chengalpattu on September 28th, skipping its usual stops at Chennai Egmore, Mambalam, and Tambaram, with an additional stop at Perambur.

Visakhapatnam se chali toh Chennai Central pe hi ruk jaayegi, Egmore nahi. Aur waapis aate waqt, Chennai Egmore se Visakhapatnam jaane wali train, next day subah 10:45 baje Chennai Central se chalegi. Kakinada Port se Chengalpattu jaane wali Circar Express, 28 September ko dopahar 2:30 baje Kakinada Port se chali toh Korukkupet, Arakkonam, Melpakkam, aur Chengalpattu se hoke jaayegi. Train apne usual stops Chennai Egmore, Mambalam, aur Tambaram pe nahi rukegi, lekin Perambur pe rukengi.
