Agra Metro: टेंडर और एनओसी के चक्कर में उलझी आगरा मेट्रो, शुरू नहीं हो पा रहा निर्माण कार्य

The construction of the 17 elevated stations for the Agra Metro has been delayed due to a lack of NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the three stations on the first corridor and the failure to tender the 14 elevated stations on the second...

corridor. These 14 stations are estimated to cost 1841 crores. The delays could push back the completion of the project by 8-10 months. The first corridor comprises 13 stations, including the final three elevated stations at ISBT, Guru ka Tal, and Sikandra. Their construction is estimated to cost 315 crores. The second corridor, stretching from Agra Cantt to Kalindi Vihar, features 14 stations and has a budget of 1526 crores. Both corridors will pass through highways, which has resulted in the delay in obtaining the NOC. Tenders were sought for the second corridor in November of last year, with 5 companies submitting bids. However, the tendering process has not been finalized even in August. This delay is hindering the launch of train services on both corridors. Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) is aiming to complete the 29.5 km metro network in Agra by December 2026. The UPMRC Deputy General Manager, Panchanan Mishra, has stated that the tender for the second corridor is scheduled for August 13th and that the NOC for constructing the elevated stations on both corridors is expected to be received by next week. The construction of the four underground stations on the first corridor – RBS, Raja ki Mandi, Agra College, and SN Medical College – has already commenced, and the necessary diversions on MG Road are being finalized. The excavation work is underway, and the commencement of civil work is contingent upon the final approvals from the police and administration.

Agra Metro ke 17 elevated stations ka construction aage badh nahi paya hai, kyunki National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) se pahle corridor ke teen stations ke liye NOC nahi mil paya hai, aur doosre corridor ke 14 elevated stations ka tender bhi nahin ho paya hai. In 14 stations ka...

construction 1841 crore rupees se hona hai. Iss wajah se metro project complete hone mein 8-10 mahine ki der ho sakti hai. Pehle corridor mein 13 stations hain, jismein final teen elevated stations ISBT, Guru ka Tal aur Sikandra hain. Lekin August aa gaya, lekin tender finalized nahi ho paya hai. Is wajah se metro ke dono corridors par train ka operation late ho raha hai. Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) ka target hai ki Agra mein 29.5 km metro network December 2026 tak complete ho jaye. UPMRC ke Deputy General Manager, Panchanan Mishra ne bataaya hai ki doosre corridor ka tender 13 August ko propose hai, aur dono corridors ke elevated stations ke construction ke liye NHAI se NOC aane wali hai, aur next week tak aane ki umeed hai. Pehle corridor mein 4 underground stations hain – RBS, Raja ki Mandi, Agra College, aur SN Medical College, jinka construction shuru ho chuka hai, aur MG Road par diversion ke liye final plans ban rahe hain. Excavation ka kaam chal raha hai, aur civil work ke liye police aur administration se final approvals aane ke baad shuru kiya jayega.
