Prayag station is adding a new platform and gate on the Ram Priya Road side, while Phaphamau is getting a new platform and a second gate on the Rangpura village side, alongside a proposed food plaza. The new gate at Phaphamau will be connected to Banaras Road and Fafamau Kachar. The DRM (Divisional Railway Manager) from Lucknow has been overseeing these projects, inspecting progress twice in a month.
