will connect Nashik to Pune and Mumbai, facilitating travel for residents of Ashti, Kada, Shirur, and Amulner (Bhid district). The line will also provide a direct route for passengers from Parli to Mumbai and Pune, connecting them to major cities in South India like Aurangabad, Nanded, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Tirupati, Secunderabad, Guntur, Bidar, and Latur. The Nashik-Bhid section of the line is expected to be completed by November, followed by the Bhid-Vadvani section by March. The Nashik railway station, previously part of the Solapur Division, is now connected to the Pune Division. The line will boost freight transport, particularly cement and fruit, and create job opportunities, allowing farmers to transport their produce to Mumbai and Pune.
