Board rules, battery-operated vehicles should only be used for disabled, elderly, and helpless individuals. However, these vehicles are being used for passenger and goods transportation, affecting the income of kullies who earn only INR 200-300 despite working 12 hours. The union claims that the modernization and privatization of railways is negatively impacting the income of kullies due to the introduction of automated escalators and battery-operated vehicles. The union submitted a memorandum demanding a solution within 15 days, threatening nationwide protests if their demands are not met.

mutabik, battery-operated vehicles sirf disabled, elderly aur helpless logon ke liye use honi chahiye. Lekin, in vehicles ka use passengers aur goods transportation ke liye bhi ho raha hai, jisse kullies ki daily income pe asar pad raha hai. 12 ghante kaam karne ke baad bhi unhe sirf INR 200-300 mil rahe hai. Union ne kaha ki railways ke modernization aur privatization se kullies ki income mein bahut kam ho rahi hai, kyunki automated escalators aur battery-operated vehicles aa gaye hai. Union ne memorandum submit kiya aur 15 din mein solution maanga, warning di ki agar unki demands nahi mani gayi, toh deshbhar mein protest karenge.
