Looking back ! A 150 years old heritage route, one of the most popular stretches of IR's metre gauge network, the home to the famous Dhulghat Spiral & numerous other tidbits !
The journey from Ratlam - Purna to Mhow - Omkareshwar & finally to the Sunset was over at the blink of an eye but it surely left behind infinite beautiful memories & evergreen nostalgia. However, there is a possibility of IR operating the tourist train in the heritage section (Patalpani-Kalakund) during the monsoon season.

148 years old Meter gauge route in Madhya Pradesh, bid farewell yesterday; 31 January 2023, bringing emotions and tears amongst the rail lovers! The YDM-4 chugged it's last run through the iconic narmada river bridge and the beautiful patalpani.
I was lucky to have experienced this epic and amazing MG train journey back...

So you know , Dr Ambedkar Nagar Omkareshwar will be permanently closed due to Gauge conversion so After 1st February , kindly make black and white line from Mukhtiara Balwada to Omkareshwar, and erase Grey line from Kalakund to Mukhtiara Balwada as new alignment will be made and red line is already made and erase Grey line from Dr Ambedkar Nagar to Patalpaani as Heritage train will be short terminate till Patalpani and heritage train will run from Patalpani to Kalakund in future as per sources and also red line is already made for new alignment.
