For the benefit of tourist, it has been decided to augment one FCZ Coach (Slip Coach) with the Train No. 52540 from Darjeeling to Kurseong with effect from 01-10-2022. The one way fare from Kurseong to Darjeeling and vice-versa will be Rs. 750/

The world's 3rd highest peak, Mount Kanchenjunga (8,586 m) from the Greater Himalayas & it's homonymous representation from DHR, Siliguri (SGUJ) NDM 6 # 601 christened as "Kanchenjunga" after the name of the mountain peak.

The first frame has been taken at Batasia Loop while the other frames have been taken between Darjeeling & Batasia.

The train in tow for all frames is 52540 Darjeeling - New Jalpaiguri Passenger.
