Puri Howrah SF Exp is no longer a safe train for general people who travels in general or sleeper class. I am depressed to share my horrible experience on 2nd Nov 2015. We 3 friends were returning from Puri in S1 compartment with confirmed tickets. But the horror began from Cuttack. 7 drunk boys entered in our reserved compartment with just 5 daily tickets after watching India Srilanka cricket match. I am astounded when i saw the TTE even after checking their daily tickets simply allowed them to sit in reserved compartment. After that the situation gone worst. They started abusing people, consumed alchohol openly in our coupe, shouted and at last beated some of us who protested them. 1 of them snatched my bed sheet on their anger. GRP or any armed police in that train. Rather he admitted that he himself is not secured then how can he provide security to us... But while increasing the fare the railway ministry said that they will look in the matter of traveller's security. Perhaps the humiliation was the reward of fare increment from Rs 256 to Rs 330. The hooligans get down from the train in Balasore. They gifted us a bitter experience and spoiled our tour. Shame on Indian railway.
